Following the incidents of Pentecost and the resultant Pentecostal sermons and miracles, multitudes of people were converted to Christ. Also through this incidents and subsequent apostolic teachings/fellowships, the early Church grew by leaps and bounds numerically and spiritually (Acts 2:36-47). This of course earned the apostles serious persecution from Jewish religious leaders, who would have nothing to do with Jesus and who also would not have anyone have anything to do with Him (Acts 4: 1-9, 15-18; 5:40). So, in the 5th Chapter of the Book of Acts, it is reported that these apostles were imprisoned for continuing to declare those things they had known of and seen in Jesus (Acts 5:17-18). But surprisingly, an Angel of the Lord came to the prison by night, brought them out and said, “go stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life” (Acts 5:19-20).onlytext Following their freedom and this injunction of the Angel, the apostles waxed bolder and stronger and entered the temple early in the morning and taught the people (Acts 5:21). It is pertinent here that we stop to consider (i) the implication of “all the words of this life” as commanded them by the Angel; (ii) why he bade them go and declare these, and continue to minister to the multitudes, despite the rejection and opposition of these Jewish religious elders/leaders.

The Angel’s command that the apostles should speak to the people all the words of this life can be said to include a number of issues. These apostles had been with Jesus all these three and half years and had had their eyes of understanding opened on all issues that he taught them/spoke to them of. Their eyes had been opened on the person and ministry of Jesus; on the law of Moses and its ministry; on the prophets and their ministries; on the state and standing before God of Jews of old and of their day; on Abraham and other patriarchs; on John the Baptist and his ministry; on the Kingdom of God and entrance into it; on repentance and restitution; on life after death; on hell fire; on the love of God; on the nature of God generally; on marriage and divorce; on resurrection; on the end of the world and countless other issues. Besides, Jesus had ordained and commanded them to continue in His ministry of preaching, teaching and healing and they have now been filled with the Holy Spirit and have begun to fulfill the ministry proper (Matt.28:18-20; 10:1, 7-8; Mk.16:15; John14:12; 6:68; Acts1:8; 2:1-10). It is the dissemination of the above knowledge and the continuity of Jesus’ ministry of healing the sick and setting free the possessed of the devil that are implied in the Angel’s injunction of “go and teach the people all the words of this life”.

The angel knew that, though these religious but unregenerated Jewish leaders would have nothing to do with what these apostles had received (as defined above), the multitudes needed them for their salvation, healing and the other benefits. He recognized the import and inevitableness of what these apostles had, so they must serve the people those things unhindered.

What does the Lord want the readers of this document to deduce from the foregoing? The Watchman Catholic Charismatic Renewal Movement, having been specially raised and equipped with great insight into God’s word and mind for the now and for the future, as well as with the gifts of the Holy Spirit, has been sent to declare such knowledge and wield such gifts among the multitudes, so as to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and the benefits of them that are sanctified through faith in Jesus (see Acts 26:17-18). The document further exposes how the Watchman Catholic Charismatic Renewal Movement pulpits of many colours will continue to be the oracles of the living God, pin-pointing all that the people need to know about the now, the future; the past; about themselves and about the Lord’s requirements, before the impending hammer of God’s judgment falls and the door to the marriage of the Lamb is soon shut. It also follows that all the miracles that the people need in their lives are guaranteed because the gifts of the Holy Spirit continues to be in operation.
N.B: All the knowledge, instruction, counsel or warning you are reading in this document are revelation-knowledge, instruction, counsel and warning. This means that they were expressly brought into the heart of the servant of God of this great Movement by the Spirit of God, which thing is distinct from messages borne out of some observation of error by a pastor, or some question (e.g. Matt. 5:1-7; LK.12:13; Matt.19:5-12; Lk.14:7).
Let us now proceed to explore the now, the future, the past and other issue that the Lord has commanded us to explore in this document.

The time in which we live has a lot of issues that should jolt the toughest of minds, yet multitudes of people move about un perturbed because they do not have the eyes that can perceive (cons.2 Cor.4:4). However, this kind of situation is not novel. At the time of the Lord Jesus Christ, He lamented the blindness of hearts of the Jewish religious leaders (e.g Matt. 15:14; 23:16-19), and that of the generality of the people of Jerusalem (e.g Lk.19:41-44). Even His very apostles were also caught in this blindness (e.g Jn.4:35). It is our prayer that all that will read this document is made to see as they ought to see. What and what then does the time in which we live have in stock for the masses of this world, for the people of this region and for true Christians to know?

(1) The Now- The Period that Should Precede the 2nd Coming of Christ.

To enable us perceive that now is the very period that should precede the second coming of Jesus Christ, we must first discuss Christ’s second coming itself, which will be in two stages, namely (i) His descent into the sky to catch away His living and dead saints; (ii) His descent to the world to execute judgment on the ungodly and begin His 1,000 year-reign on earth.

(1 Cor. 15:51-58, 1Thess. 4:13-18, 5:4-9; 2Thess. 2:5-7).

The first stage of the second coming of Christ is His descent into the sky to catch away from the earth to Himself all living saints (true Christians) and all who had died in the Lord. The Lord Himself promised this to His disciples while He was yet with them (Jn. 14:1-3; Lk. 21:34-36). The Apostle Paul, by revelation- knowledge declared same to the Churches of his day (1 Cor. 15:51-58; 1 Thess. 4:13-18; 5:4-9; 2 Thess. 2:5-7: Phi. 3:11, 20-21). The apostle John also referred to it in his general epistle to the Church (1Jn. 3;1-3). Following this catching away of both the dead and the living saints into the heavens will be the marriage banquet of the Lord Jesus with these saints, there in the heavens. We have the Lord’s parables that teach this, as well as the revelation of the Angel of the Lord (cons Matt.22:1-4; 25:1-13; Rev. 19:1-10). N.B: After the rapture and while the marriage banquet of the Lamb and His bride (the saints) will be going on in heavens, the great tribulation will be taking place on earth. The great tribulation is a dispensational phenomenon referred to severally as Jacob’s trouble (Jere.30:7); wrath (Rev. 14:7; 15:4;16:5-7); indignation (Is.26:20-21; 34:1-3); punishment (Is. 24:20-21); hour of trial (rev. 3:10)’ Daniel’s 70th week (Dan. 9:27). God will bring this about to try them that dwell upon the earth (Rev. 3:10), and to prepare Israel for the King of kings (Jere. 30:7; Mal.4:5-6). During this time of great tribulation, the Antichrist will take possession of this world for a reign of terror. The Antichrist will not be a system or an organization, but a person – a supernatural diabolical being in the form of a man, who will blaspheme and claim himself to be God (Dan. 8:23-25; 2 Thess. 2:7-12; Rev. 13: 1-10).

The second stage of Christ coming is His descent into the world precisely into Jerusalem in Israel (Zech. 14:4). This descent will be as literal and visible as His ascension into heaven (comp. with Acts 1:11). This tim, He is coming with 10,000 of His saints to execute judgement upon the ungodly (Jude 14-15), and to set up His kingdom and reign for 1,000 years on this present world (Zech 14:3-4; Matt. 25:31-46; 26:64; Mk 13:24-37; 2 Thess. 1:7-10; 2:8; Jude 14-15). During this time, the devil and demons will be bound for 1,000 years (Rev. 20:2-3) and it will be a reign of peace and blessing (Is. 11:6-9; 65:25; Hos. 2:18; Zech. 14:9-20; Is. 2:2-4). Now, as before stated, the very period in which we live is that very time that should precede the first stage of the Lord’s second coming. This means that the next item in the scheme of God’s administrative operations of governing heaven and earth is the catching away of the living and dead saints (the Rapture). As soon as this is done, He will resume dealing with the Jews, having suspended the Church, and through the Church age (Rom. 11:11-12, 23-24). What evidence do we have on ground to prove that the time in which we are living is the very time that precedes the catching away of the saints? Let us consider the following:
